  1. The 5 day bicycle ride in june from clinton to st charles – what is the status and when will a decision be made if the ride is cancelled?

  2. Will all restaurants & stores be closed for a while? When will they reopen? I was considering biking eastbound from Pleasant Hill at the end of April.

    1. Hi Reagan, if the Stay at Home order is still in place I would call ahead. Most restaurants are takeout only. Stores selling food are more likely to be open than retail shopping but not a sure bet.

  3. With heavy hearts we are canceling our Katy Trail Ride registration as we cannot fathom how the bus transport across the state will have social distancing (need more than one bus?), SAG stops will be continually sanitized (the water and Gatorade), out houses continually sanitized, shower semi – one person at a time?, breakfast and dinner, tents distancing, and with the summer heat – wearing masks will be very difficult during the many biking miles as always passing, being passed. Transport to hotels self distancing? People coming from all over the country, unknown how careful they have been leading up to the ride. BAK (Bike across Kansas) and RAGBRAI both canceled.
We understand that the 2019 Katy Trail Ride was canceled due to flooding and very tough financially to cancel again but the riders health is most important.
