The Katy Trailhead in Marthasville, Missouri may not be the largest, however, offers plenty to explore including food and wineries.
Marthasville was established in 1817 by Dr. John Young, who named it after his wife. It is the oldest town in Warren County and can be tied to pioneers like Daniel Boone and Lewis and Clark. The Lewis and Clark expedition made its last stop at the nearby La Charrette settlement. G
