Festival Bike Tour – Boonville
The Festival Bike Tour will begin and end at the historic Thespian Hall in Boonville, Missouri. Note this ride is near, yet not on the Katy Trail.
From Thespian Hall riders will head out on the 42 mile “Wooldridge Route”. Once you arrive in Prairie Home (2nd Rest Stop) you will roll on to Wooldridge or take the optional “Loop to Lupus” (Lupus is a small community right on the Missouri River). The “Loop” adds 10 very challenging (hilly) miles to the original 42-mile route for a total of 52
miles.
All miles are some of the more scenic in Missouri with decent road surfaces and relatively little traffic. (22 mile option is an out and back to the 1st rest stop on HWY U).
This ride is well supported with rest stops and support vehicles. Free ice cream will be served to finishers on the front steps of Thespian Hall.
The cost of the ride is $30 – $35 depending on mileage.
