Katy Trail State Park is visited by hundreds of thousands annually as it offers picturesque biking, hiking, and jogging opportunities.
Some may long for the opportunity to take in the trails beauty but are not in a place to physically do so. These folks can experience Katy Trail State Park from the comfort of a tram coach on the Tuesdays on the Trail tours. The tram tours are offered at various Katy Trail trailheads, offering a chance for visitors to see areas of the trail they may not be able to experience otherwise. Each tour will host 25 people and includes a guide providing a presentation on the history of the Katy Trail and local history on the towns along the trail. Snacks and bottled water are provided to each participant.
To sign up visit the official Missouri State Parks site and search “tram” to view available dates and times. Tours run on Tuesdays through October and seats fill up fast.
