2021 Pedaler’s Jamboree
The Pedaler’s Jamboree is a music festival hosted along the Katy Trail! Riders are treated to a 40 mile route from Columbia to Jefferson city in 2021, with fantastic music along the way!
Historically the ride began at Flat Branch Park in Columbia, Missouri and the festival held Kemper Park in Boonville. This year the route has changed.
The historic flooding of 2019 closed multiple sections of the trail and required the Pedaler’s Jamboree directors to make multiple route changes. While waters have receded, the trail still shows the damage from the summer floods. In particular, the Salt Creek bridge between Rocheport and Franklin, MO is still heavily damaged and needs to be replaced (the trail will be detoured on Hwy 240 and 40 for everyday users).
With advanced notice this year it has been decided that the Capital City will host the main stage and overnight of the 2021 Pedaler’s Jamboree. Riders will start in Columbia and ride through various stops as usual, including Cooper’s Landing. Once riders reach the capital, they will enter the festival on the Pat Jones Pedestrian Bridge and travel to the final overnight host destination at the Ellis-Porter Park Amphitheater. Main stage festivities and camping will be hosted on-site.
