2020 Boonville Do or Die Half Marathon and 5K – Postponed
Event update. As of March 17th, the do or die 5k has been postponed due to COVID-19.
The 2020 Boonville Do or Die Half Marathon and 5K is a well supported race put on by the Boonslick Heartland YMCA on the Katy Trail. The half marathon will take place on the beautiful Katy Trail and organizers are promising a new twist this year for the route!
The race will be held April 4th, 2020 and proceeds go to Boonville High School organizations. At least two $500 scholarships will result from the race entry fee’s.
Final route to be unveiled soon! It will begin this year at the YMCA in Boonville and take place on the Trail.

Yes, The YMCA will provide complementary showers following the race.
All ages are welcome to join in on the fun, however, children under 14 must run with an adult.
Boonville High School will provide scholarship details to all students in the Spring of 2020.
The Do or Die Half Marathon will begin on the trail parallel to Isle of Capri. Park your car at the Isle of Capri and walk a few feet to the race start. There will be no shuttle.
Awards will be given to the first finisher in each age group. All participants will receive a T-shirt and finisher medal.
The age divisions are 18 and under, then every 5 years beginning with 19-25.
The local Saints Peter and Paul confirmation class is providing a carb-loading pasta meal, complete with meat and Lenten non-meat option.
The price is a free will donation and includes salad, drink and a cookie. We are thankful they are participating and ask that you consider supporting them for your evening meal!
Yes! There are 6 water stops along the route. Each water stop will be competing for the title of “most festive” based on your vote at the finish line.
