2023 Boonville Do or Die Half Marathon and 5k
The 2023 Boonville Do or Die Half Marathon and 5K is a well supported race put on by the Boonslick Heartland YMCA. The half marathon will take place on the beautiful Katy Trail.
The race will be held April 22nd, 2023 and proceeds go to Boonville High School organizations. At least two $500 scholarships will result from the race entry fee’s.
The race is an out and back loop on the MKT trail with supported water stops. The surface is crushed Limestone and never more than 4% grade up or down! Join for an inexpensive half marathon adventure and support a good cause, now in its 7th year running. T-shirts, medals, 5-year age group awards and after event!

Here are a few housekeeping details for participants:
If you need a place to stay, we recommend the Isle of Capri Hotel (one block from race start) or Hotel Frederick (a cute boutique hotel that overlooks the Missouri River—about 4 blocks from race start).
We appreciate it if you can make it to packet pickup so race day is less hectic for us, but, we do have packet pick up from 7-7:30 for Half Marathoners and from 8:15-8:30 for 5K.
We WILL let others pick up packets for you!
The races start (Half starts at 8 am and the 5K starts at 9am) at the Katy Trail Head in downtown Boonville, there is an adorable coffee shop right up the street called Derailed Coffee. There is ample parking behind the Tourism Center and across the street at the old Katy Depot which is also the Chamber of Commerce.
There are several bathrooms available at the race start and we will be there at 6:15 am getting ready for the race!
On the course there are two porta potties and several water stops. If you have spectators who would like to see you on the course, they can access it by two of the water stops along the way.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to run along with their owners on a leash.
Beverages and snacks will be provided for race finishers.
We will have a short award ceremony following each race finish for overall finishers and age group awards.

The local Saints Peter and Paul confirmation class is providing a carb-loading pasta meal, complete with meat and Lenten non-meat option.
The price is a free will donation and includes salad, drink and a cookie. We are thankful they are participating and ask that you consider supporting them for your evening meal!
